Been working on my phd proposal - definitely not coming together! AND i've gone past the 'due date' we agreed for the 'finished' draft (i'm currently on the first draft)!!!

Hang in there!! I never got past a bachelor's degree so you're doing great :)
Just remember- if at first you don't succeed, remove all evidence that you tried.
Write something hideous, at least you're writing!
