• Suzanne Collins - The Hunger Games Series. Great series. 

• Ally Condie - Dystopian Fantasy. Favourite: Matched Trilogy. Loved the use of Poetry. 

• Kazuo Ishiguro - Dystopian/Science Fiction. Favourite: Never Let Me Go - a novel which stays with you for life. 

• Melissa Marr - Paranormal Romance/Urban Fantasy (Fae). Favourites: Wicked Lovely Series 

• Philip Pullman - Author of His Dark Materials. Amazing world building and engaging story.

• Michele Bardsley - Author of Broken Heart Vampire Series. Enjoyable series at beginning. 

• Patricia Briggs **- Amazing Author of UF. Love her Mercy Thompson series and Alpha and Omega series (same universe).

• Gail Carriger **- Absolutely LOVE the Parasol Protectorate series. Alternative History/Steampunk/romance with werewolves and vampires.
